Well it's different. But, being a concept who knows what the final car will look like.  Wonder what kind of engine it will have and by the time Volvo gets it on the market will Ford still own the company?

This is kind of snazzy. It’s good to see Volvo evolving from the box car design to something that looks more like a BMW 3-series or Audi A4.

Yes, Ford still owns Volvo… this week.  Who knows what will happen next with the automobile industry.

This is where Volvo should be going. Exciting, sexy, unique.  It's about time they started competing with Audi and BMW.  I'm in for one in 2010.

This is a very nice looking car, and like all the rest of the very nice looking cars out there nowadays it'll probably be packed with a bunch of useless gadgets to make driving 'safer' and will undoubtedly not be available with a manual transmission.  This is made for other people, but not for me; I won't even look at anything I can't get with three pedals and an H-gate.

If this goes to market as similar as the XC60 did from concept to production, it'll be among the best-looking sedans on the market, and definitely a benchmark in automotive designs.
I think Ford would be more likely to drop Mazda from the corporate banner (or Mercury, really) than it would Vovlo, as it has been using Volvo extensively for safety system design, an expensive part of R&D for any new vehicle. I think they're done with selling off brands in almost-entireties, thank goodness.

Some exciting styling cues.  How many will actually carry over into the production model.  Volvo shows some exciting concepts, but seldom do the styling cues truly carry over into their production vehicles.

Looks great and if it drives as nice as my 2002 Volvo V70XC Cross Country, Volvo and Ford will have another winner.  Now if we can see Volvo design and engineering cross over into Ford's mainstream North American models we just might see a resurgence in the American automotive industry.

that Volvo looks nice.  would like them to keep a 5 speed and even make it compatible with a hybrid.  And make a coupe as well, not just a convertible.  And repeat for the S40 series.

Riveting, exciting, exquisite, nothing like it and nothing beats that lil monster. When the C30 was showcased I thought it was the car of the century but the Concept takes it to another level. Can't wait to get my hands on it! I just love it and being a volvo fan I can't wait to see the future of hybrid makes by volvo.

We have a winner! ...and I love the future of volvo, Keep it up!!!
