When is Dodge going to dump that P.O.S. Charger? Perhaps they should just re-name it the Plymouth Fury III cop cruiser.

We have the Charger as our primary Highway Patrol car in South Carolina. I am retired from The DPS but the guys I know who drive them day to day say with a little help they will fly and are very stable at high speeds. The public model may suck but the police model is pretty good and way better than the LTD's used for the last 15 years or so. We also have a few Impalas but they are for supervisors who don't patrol the roads.

Seeing all the new models the American manufacturers have in their pipelines makes me so proud. They wouldn't be in trouble now if the American public wasn't so in love with Hummers, Escalades, and Expeditions....the auto makers gave us what the pubic WANTED. Funny how no one has talked about that aspect!? The new products goes to show that the American automotive companies have been serious about fuel efficiency and the environment for some time. Sit up and take notice U.S. Congress...let's all support GM, Ford, & Chrysler!!

Half these cars look stupid, the bumper overhangs the front wheels by two feet, and the back wheels are pushed to the rear bumper. That's backwards.

It is kind of silly that the Genesis which won top honors is not even mentioned here. Obviously these folks were not paying attention.
