Subaru needs some new designers! They had good designs 15 years ago but they have kept the same basic design since. Do something different!!

The Ford Taurus looks great.  I will definitely be heading to Ford to look at the new Taurus.  Well done Ford!

The Fisker Karma gets 300 miles on a full charge AND a full tank of gas?  What's the big deal?  I can currently get 300 miles on a full tank of gas in my small SUV.  The only bonus is that car has decent performance....not much speed, but good acceleration.  Make a production car that gets 300 on electric alone and I'll be impressed.  Remember, the point is to eliminate the gas factor!!!!

WOW look at the VW!!! now i'm exited, they are pulling the Lugger squarely at the Honda's S200, the BMW Roadster and the Mazda Miata. With 2 times their millage and less weigh, and close to same performance! i imagine as always VW will keep the price reachable by 90% of the population unlike the other IDIOTS who only cater to the rich, for over 70thousand, this is why i am so proud to be a VW owner every time the industry thought to have figured out, VW already did it better and more economically to the environment and the pocket book, GO VW!

Open-mouthed

In 1987 I purchased a new Pontiac Fiaro. I was getting about 46 Miles per gallon with Shell supper unleaded, city and highway. It was great and fun.

Sad

What happened?

I wouldn't bailout the auto makers or unions for past poor decisions. Sorry.

i bet you if the Karma had used only 200HP and 300Flbs of torque it prolly get almost 2 times that range and still get 120 MPH, it would perform closer to the jaguar x series of sporters, again, TO MUCH! TO LITTLE TO LATE TO EXPENSIVE!!!!! all they did was take an inexpensive body chassis, slap an axle to the transmision, 2 electric motors gear or chain pullied to that shaft and an ass of LiFepo4 batteries, wish enough of them to provide the masive power to do that would cost no more than 3 or 4 grand, not factoring the discount on cost because a corporation bought a mass of the batteries at the most that car should cost 30 grand 40 if you want only the elite to buy it, this is again making a car to shut up the HIPPIES dangle it in fron of the Public say they produced it but no one wanted it(because they could not afford it!) and go back to internal combustion and petroleoum conglomerate monetary consesions that fatten their pockets while we stay adicted to fuel and dependant on bad people to make good choices in office.

I hope the Volkswagen BlueSport TDI lands here soon, unlike all the delays with the Jetta TDI.  I had to wait to get it but I bought the Jetta TDI and love it.  I get 45 mpg and it has torque like you would not believe.  The public misconception about modern diesel engines is beginning to wear on me.  Most people don’t even know it is a diesel even when they are riding in it.  I pulled up to a diesel pump once with a friend she warned that it was a diesel pump.  I said; “yes I know”.  Boy was she discombobulated for a few seconds.  No it does not stink!  The emissions are cleaner than gas engines.

Wheel design seems to have evolved into the two best looking solutions, 5 spokes with a split, or 7 spokes.

The BlueSport TDI was the only styling I liked.
