The Arnage has been the epitome of what Bentley is all about – the big luxury sedan is hand built in Crewe, England, from the finest materials. But the Arnage has been around for 10 years now and its successor is coming soon, so Bentley rolled out what it calls the ‘Arnage Final Series’.

Not only will this special edition commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Arnage, it also celebrates 50 years of Bentley V8 engines and 90 years since the marque was founded. Bentley Chairman and Chief Executive, Dr Franz-Josef Paefgen, explains:  “For 10 years, Arnage has enjoyed extraordinary success at the pinnacle of the luxury saloon market.  The Final Series is a celebration of the Arnage era as Bentley prepares for the next generation of its flagship model.”

To make this Arnage Final Series special, Bentley has combined the performance of the Arnage T with the comfort of the Arnage R and added styling cues from the new Brooklands coupe.

The result is what Bentley calls the “ultimate expression of British luxury and effortless power in a four-door saloon.”

Highlights of the Final Series include a dark-tint grille, retractable ‘Flying B’ hood ornament, lower front-wing air vents, dual exhaust and 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. The interior is completely trimmed in leather – including the headliner and steering wheel, the latter of which requires 16 hours of stitching.

In the rear is custom-made cocktail cabinet complete with a Final Series stainless steel flask and shot glasses. The special Arnage is also fitted with set of picnic tables available in a choice of three premium unbleached wood veneers as well as four Bentley umbrellas.

Under the long hood (properly referred to as the “bonnet”) resides the classic 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 500 horsepower and a whopping 738 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough power to move this almost 3-ton car to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds with a top speed of 179 mph.

Only 150 Final Series editions will be built, and with a choice of 42 exterior and 25 interior colors available, each is likely to be unique.
